Day Night

I have always had a fascination with the night and day atmosphere. The feeling I associate with night is cool, calm, and patient. While my day association is one of life, joy, and euphoria. But when painting my associations, I wanted to see the worlds collide, which is what you now see.

Elegance

African Culture is not regularly taught in many academic spheres unless someone is searching for it. Because of this, a connotation with African culture is primarily of slavery and ignorance. But through my individual research, I have found true African culture is one of elegance, power, with kings and queens like no other. This piece represents my findings, and maybe encourages the connotations to change.

Infinite Hope

Antisemitism in 2025. That was my prompt when making this peice. What first came to mind is the oppression of Jews, yet how relenteless and calm Jewish individuals are to combat any attacks on them. But I knew I needed something deeper. That is when I came across a painting of several wolves attacking a lamb, and knew what I was going to paint. Each wolf, decorated with different colors, represent the flag colors of Hamas, Afghanistan, and Palestine. While the wolves try to attack the Lamb the represents the Jews, the Lamb is calm and steadfast in their religion and beliefs.

Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking. A heavy topic that I have found to be one not to bring up during table talk. Yet this topic is one that needs to be addressed. Too many kids go missing from their parents, never to be seen again and grow up "For Sale" causing unimaginable heartache and suffering. Hopefully society can come together to protect children and adults alike from human trafficking.

Beauty defined

Afros: the embodiment of African-American culture, beauty and strength. I love looking at afros, and wearing them. This led me to paint something that represents just how beautiful and powerful I see afros. That is what you see before you now.

Two-Faced

Depression, anxiety, stress; powerful feelings that you may attach to this piece. Personally, when making this piece I was going through a tough time in my life, and this resulted in this being one of my rawest forms of expression for my art. To the point I was debating putting on my website even. Yet, I put it on here to hopefully help others know they are not alone and maybe help connect with something tangible.
